My own process for creation is a combination of formal development and conceptual development—each of which influences the other. In other words, thinking through making, and making through thinking. This project serves as a space to expand my realm of thought through the act of making, and document experiments that exist outside of a complete case study. The title takes cues from screamo bands such as Saetia, Jerome's Dream, and Funeral Diner, who compiled tracks of unrelated songs as opposed to a cohesive theme of an LP.
The areas of focus for these experiments include but are not limited to: form, concept, discipline, repetition, typography, grids, systems, construction, deconstruction, texture, movement, animation, video, et cetera.
